The Programme is designed for students who have completed their undergraduate degree in any field and related fields and wish to enhance their knowledge in specific areas of Humanities & Social Sciences through research and writing.

The B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science was launched online by Mr. Pradeep Bhandari, psephologist, author of ‘Modi Mandate 2019: Dispatched from Ground Zero’ and CEO of Jan ki Baat. Congratulating JGU on the launch of the course, he said, “The art of public policy making has become extremely stakeholder driven, and not one stakeholder driven but multiple. In the age of the information decentralisation, no single person has the power to influence the political narrative individually. It is very important to understand that it’s not election time which matters in India to win an election, it’s what the politician does during non-election time which holds significance. The power of the Indian voter has increased significantly. Today even politicians hire professionals, consultants for their election campaigns. It’s not mere UPSC or civil services which are now career options but electioneering, political commentary, psephology, public representatives are emerging as career options for our youth.”

“It is our endeavour to offer the best of educational qualifications and opportunities to our valued students,” said Prof. (Dr.) C. Rajkumar, Founding Vice Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University.
