Saamarthya Teachers Training Academy of Research (STTAR) launched

Jaipuria School of Business, Ghaziabad, foraying into teacher training launched Saamarthya Teachers Training Academy of Research (STTAR) on July 15 in a virtual inauguration ceremony wherein Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dr Dinesh Sharma digitally launched the STTAR platform. 

Shishir Jaipuria – Chairman, Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions; Anil Swaroop, former secretary, department of School Education & Literacy, Anurag Tripathi, Secretory CBSE,Anuradha Shukla,Addl. Chief Secretary to Dept. of Secondary Education Govt of U.P.; Vinod Malhotra, Chairman, Academic Council, STTAR; Mark Parkinson, Educationist UK & Malaysia and Ken Joshua – Educationist & Scientist, Senior advisor, STTAR joined the live event. 

Dr Dinesh Sharma said that the foundation of a sound education system depends on the quality of our teachers. “Initiatives like STTAR will play an important role in enhancing the knowledge base of teachers and that will ultimately benefit millions of students,” he added 

According to Shishir Jaipuria  the education ecosystem globally is going through a paradigm shift and the same has been accelerated on account of rapid advancement in technology and unprecedented situation caused by the pandemic. He said that these changes are going to stay and every educational institution has to adapt to this change with agility and resilience to survive and that the schools will be required to prepare themselves for hybrid teaching in future.

Vinod Malhotra, Chairman, Academic Council, STTAR added that the training academy can undertake online training courses for teachers at various schools in UP both private and government to assist them to continue their teaching on an on-line mode. This will help all schools to complete the syllabus on time. The entire teacher’s community will benefit by this exposure to the latest technology.
